Capital for Climate is a public benefit company dedicated to accelerating capital deployment to high-impact climate solutions, with a core focus on Nature-based investments. It provides a strategic advisory service – NbS 360º – providing guidance and insight to investors and connecting them to opportunities to accelerate a net-zero, nature-positive, and socially inclusive economy.
Converge Capital, founded by Marina Cançado, is an advisory firm focused on accelerating businesses and investments with a focus on solutions for the climate and nature. It works with banks, management companies, family offices and start-ups to develop positioning strategies, products, fundraising, portfolio construction, origination of opportunities, education, among others.
Founded in 2015, the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) is Brazil’s premier philanthropic platform dedicated exclusively to the climate agenda. Its approach combines strategic intelligence with a systemic view of climate challenges, connecting knowledge, territories, and stakeholders to amplify the impact of solutions.
In Brazil, it engages and strengthens the climate ecosystem, playing a leadership role in shaping policies, defining priorities, and guiding investments. Internationally, it acts as a platform that projects the country as a leading hub for scalable climate solutions, integrating the national vision into global agendas.
The Nature Investment Lab (NIL) is a collaborative laboratory designed to attract and scale investments in Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). It brings together the private sector, finance, government, and civil society to drive impactful climate investments and actions in regenerative agriculture, forest restoration and the bioeconomy.
NIL was founded by Banco do Brasil, BNDES, GFANZ, iCS, and Instituto Itaúsa, with Climate Ventures serving as its executive secretariat.
